Meet our leading team

Jennifer Pagnan is a Producer, Casting Director, Consulting Editor, Writer, and one of the proud founders of 255 Productions. Born and raised in Italy, Jennifer was immersed in a world surrounded by art and beauty from a very young age, which inspired her deep love for various forms of artistic expression. At just 13 years old, Jennifer’s abstract painting was selected to be displayed in a prestigious exhibition at the renowned Maison D’Art Gallery in her home city of Padova, Italy. Her painting captured attention and was subsequently featured in a local newspaper, where it was critically and positively reviewed by the esteemed art critic Carla D’Aquino. Her journey in the arts continued when Jennifer successfully passed the admission process and was accepted to the prestigious Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Music in Padova, where, for four years, she studied music theory, voice studies, and flute. She then started modelling and promotional modelling under the Flash agency as a natural extension of her love for self-expression. However, it wasn’t until Jennifer moved to Vancouver, Canada—one of the leading cities in the global film industry—that she discovered her love for filmmaking. She embarked on this new journey, and for the first time, she took on multiple roles in the acclaimed short film Ring, serving as a Producer, Casting Director, and Consulting Editor. Despite being in the early stages of her filmmaking career, her contributions were quickly recognized, earning an honorable mention for Best Producer at The Monza Film Fest and a nomination for Best Producer at the Veneto International Film Festival. Furthermore, as the casting director, Jennifer played a vital role in handpicking the talented cast for the short film, which was nominated for Best Acting Ensemble. These accolades are a testament to the determination and dedication Jennifer pours into her work. Since then, Jennifer has continued to work on new projects. One recent project she’s especially proud of is her work with the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, a remarkable non-profit organization that has been dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation since 1985. As a lifelong animal lover, Jennifer was honored to contribute her skills as an assistant editor for the centre’s mini-documentary about their yearly eagle release, entitled To Fly Again. Today, Jennifer remains a key driving force behind 255 Productions' continued success.

Vittorio is a Director, Writer, Actor, and one of the founders of 255 Productions. He was born and raised in Greater Vancouver, BC, where his early life was shaped by the beauty of nature, the richness of multiculturalism, and a deep sense of adventure. As a child, he would often wander through the woods, venturing off paths and letting his imagination run wild with endless tales and possibilities. Listening to stories around the campfire further ignited his love for storytelling, sparking a lifelong fascination with the art of narrative. From discovering the fountain pen and writing his first stories, to watching films and reenacting roles, contemplating the intricacies of filmmaking, Vittorio was breathing and dreaming cinema. Inspired by great filmmakers and actors, Vittorio developed a profound respect for their craft. Watching actors fully embody their characters inspired him to first pursue acting, which he began through drama classes, scene study and landing roles in student and independent films. However, directing was always his aim. Yet, creating an opportunity to make and direct a film is no easy task, and for many years, he found himself sidetracked. Still, his burning love for filmmaking remained steadfast, and the desire to direct never faded. Finally, just minutes into his 32nd birthday, Vittorio had the great honor of calling 'action' for the first time, officially directing his debut short film Ring, where he took on multiple roles — director, writer, producer, lead actor, editor, and production designer. This led to him being awarded Best First-Time Director, Best Young Director, and Best Actor. The film also received accolades including Best Original Story, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Content, and Second Best Short Film. Ring was met with critical acclaim, winning multiple awards at over 22 film festivals around the world. The success of his first short film is a testament to Vittorio’s exceptional talent, drive, and commitment to filmmaking. Although his accomplishments did not come in the traditional form, his love and dedication to storytelling are unparalleled, and his ability to thrive in this industry with nothing but sheer will is truly remarkable. With Vittorio, there is no such thing as 100%. He says, '100% is the minimum, and when it comes to film, it’s not enough. We need to be aiming for 1000%.' His work ethic and creative approach solidify Vittorio's place as a promising talent in the filmmaking community.
